Qatar Daily Essentials

I have searched high and low for certain daily essentials in Qatar over the last three years and failed miserably.  I have resorted to stocking up on products whilst back in the UK or begging people to use up their baggage allowance with hundreds of goodies for me.  Which I bet the majority of us ladies do!  It is also pretty disappointing to discover, when online shopping, that certain things are not eligible to ship to Qatar! But fear not.... I have come across a website that ships products to Qatar!

Feel Unique

Here are a few of the products that will be thrown into my shopping cart!

The humidity often can cause my hair to get greasy quickly here, and not being able to get dry shampoo drives me insane, and coating my hair in baby powder has really got to stop!  There is only certain lighting that I can get away with having grey hair! These little beauties looks fantastic, they come in the majority of hair colours, so no dull looking hair for any of us!! They also have a promotion at the moment, to receive a free John Masters Organics Set.

Happy Australia Day

Hey everyone,

Happy Australia Day to all you lovely Aussies out there.   I came across an A-MAZING website recently, Fashion Bunker, I'm sure a lot of you will have heard of it, possibly not us Brits though!  Also to help celebrate Australia Day, they are offering 20% off!  Just have to check out their instagram page for the code.

How long is it acceptable to say Happy New Year, because I suppose I should also do that!  I went to Thailand after xmas and spent new year partying on a beach and chilling with tigers!  On my travels I met someone who owns their own clothing line, Poverty Sucks.  He is still away at the moment, but as soon as he gets back I shall be placing an order!! You should check his page out, he has some really original stuff, with more in the pipeline if I am not mistaken.
this WILL be mine!!! <3

Love the farm....

Tis the season of the beloved festivals, and I was lucky enough to attend the daddy of all festivals (or so I was told... it's the only one I have ever done, so I have nothing to compare it to!).... Glastonbuuuuury!!

I may not strike you as the outdoorsy type, and you would be correct in thinking that!  Don't get me wrong, I do love to camp as it reminds me of my tom boy youth, but I also enjoy nice clean toilets and nice clean showers.  Let me tell you 6 days is a looooooong time without having a shower!

What's a festival without a DIY floral headdress?

Cage Dress

The first time I saw the structured dress was back in 2008 when ASOS Black launched its cage dress.  I fell instantly in love, although others were sceptical of the design I chose to represent me turning 21.  In all honesty, it wasn’t very practical for the night life in Liverpool and I wasn’t fond of the statue squat pose I had to persevere with in the taxi, but still to this day I am in love with this dress.  (Hopefully now I have joined the gym I will be able to fit into it once again!)

My all time favourite dress

Another dress by ASOS that I loved, but was never brave enough to wear

Back to School

I had an email through from Ciate announcing their new chalkboard nails that are due to be on sale at the end of the month and I for one cannot wait to try them.  Included in the manicure kit will be a black chalkboard base coat, four chalk pens (white, blue, green and pink) and a top coat that will seal in the chalk designs.  I have not found anywhere that does pre-orders like Ciate has previously done, but it is due to be on sale in Selfridges first on the 23rd of April, so you lucky people who have a Selfridges will be able to try it first… Cannot wait to read the reviews, the promo pic looks awesome!

It's a hard life....

I’d like to apologise for the lack of blog writing on my behalf as of late, I actually don’t know why I have been so slack, as I don’t believe I have actually been very busy!  I have been trying to be more adventurous around Doha and on a mission to find more things to do, so for all you Doha goers who are at a loose end, here is what I have been up to recently...

If you have never been to Sky View bar at La Cigale… get yourself there now!  We have made it our new regular and often find ourselves indulging in a few cheeky cocktails.  Recommended by my friend Lauren Cavers, we now drink nothing other than a Passion Fruit Daiquiri, except when we have drunk the hotel dry of them, and have to resort to drinking the strawberry!  It is absolutely amazing.  If you find it on a menu – TRY IT!!!

They ran out of the passion fruit last time we were there! =(

March Madness

I may have gone a little mental with the shopping this month.... especially as I was meant to be saving!  There are soooo many things I want to buy.  I have recently discovered Pretty Little Thing if you have not seen it already you should definitely check the website out.  The prices are really reasonable, and they have some great neon coloured garments in at the moment, I ordered a onesie before I had been paid, otherwise I am sure my basket would have been overly filled!  I'm also really liking the accessories section, here are a few of my fav necklaces from their selection.

Dubai Love

Well I am a little bit annoyed with myself for the lack of blog communication as of late! So I thought I would give you an overload of photos and an update of things that have been happening lately!

So last time I gave you an update I was on my way to Dubai, (well packing for it anyway!)  as soon as I arrived I jumped into a taxi and spent the next few hours in the Emirates Mall, I stupidly did not pack ANYTHING that I wanted to wear for the whole weekend.  A spending overload later, I finally made it to the Stone Roses gig in Media City.

Dubai Baby!

Just a little blog tonight to let you all know.....

That I am soooo excited to go to Dubai tomorrow, I just cannot contain my excitement!

I have a full weekend planned of shopping, going to see the Stone Roses (I have been on a mad dash to learn all their songs!) and The Script the following night with possibly a spot of sunbathing.  I cannot wait!!

It then occured to me that it is less that 12 hours until I have to be at the airport and I have not even packed, in fact I am still at work!  Soooo in a bid not to forget anything (because I always seem to leave the most vital things behind) I went on a hunt for a packing check list.

This is my favourite of the ones that I found and just wanted to share it with you all, and although I am only going for a weekend and I won't need it all, I WILL be using it tonight when I will be a walking zombie after work!

List from: http://hellocuteness.com/
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend what ever you are doing, I'll be updating on my return with lots of pics and I can't wait to see all of yours and read all your blogs.

much love beautiful followers xx

Kimono DIY

Hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day, I surely did!  Working until 10pm saved me from a night on the sofa devouring tubs of ice cream wallowing in my own self pity, obsessing over the question of "what is wrong with me!"

Happy Valentines Day <3

So I thought whilst I am on my breaks I will inform you of this little D.I.Y beauty, inspired by my love for fringe and kimonos.

I have been wanting to make my own kimono for a while now, and last weekend finally got round to doing it.  They are so easy to wear and can dress up any casual outfit, or with the beach weather creeping around the corner, you could even throw it on over a bikini.
